Sankalpa College successfully organized a guest session titled “From Classroom to Career: Tourism Professional, Social Entrepreneur and Importance of Internship in Hospitality” on 13 March 2026 (Friday) at its premises in Banepa.
The session was conducted for Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) students with the objective of connecting academic learning with practical industry experience. The keynote speaker, Dr. Dinesh Basnet, a renowned tourism professional, serial entrepreneur, and internship consultant, shared valuable insights about career opportunities in the tourism and hospitality sector.
During the session, Dr. Basnet emphasized the importance of internships, professional networking, and practical exposure for building a successful career in hospitality. The interactive program allowed students to gain real-world perspectives and ask questions about industry expectations and career pathways.
